This activity aims at strengthening the research potential of European regions through supporting regional research-driven clusters; bringing together universities, research centres enterprises and regional authorities.

This activity will be implemented through Coordination and Support Actions, including:

• Analysis, development and implementation of research agendas for regional or cross-border clusters.
• Mentoring of regions with less-developed research profiles by highly developed ones.
• Initiatives to improve integration.
• Dissemination activity – conferences, workshops, publications and web based initiatives.
