FP7 Health Work Programme
In line with the spirit of the 're-launched' European Research Area (ERA), the 2012 SSH work programme focuses on a number of strategic societal challenges. These were selected by taking into account, for instance, the Europe 2020 strategy2 and the Innovation Union Flagship Initiative, inputs from the Member States4, the SSH Advisory Group, and other Directorates-General of the European Commission. The themes selected for this work programme are also firmly rooted in research already funded and are, in most cases, part of an Indicative Research Roadmap developed for the years 2011-2013.
